tekAuthor

view user guide here

tekAuthor is a light-weight, easy-to-use template, that implemented with existing structured editors or word processing software like Word for Windows, becomes a tekAuthor application. tekAuthor is the engine room for the tekReader product suite.

Using templates is a key component that contributes to an automated, end- to-end, multi-channel publishing platform. It is a strong foundation and conduit for consistency and accuracy to mission-critical documents. tekAuthor provides a simple workflow so authors can concentrate on writing and have a clear separation between content and presentation layers.

The base tekAuthor application has been developed using Adobe®FrameMaker®. This is very useful for businesses who lack any template driven authoring environment and want to get up and running quickly without the added cost of development.

Traditional publishing platforms are usually costly to develop, implement and maintain which leads to unnecessary complexities that can induce high staff turnover. tekAuthor eliminates complexities by providing a bottom-up approach to authoring. Deliver high quality documentation for print and web while future-proofing your content for fast shifting publishing landscapes.
